My Dear Child

These are some photos of my 2 yr old son Austin. He loves to be in front of the camera but then he has to see them. I took him down to this old damn below our house and he had a blast. He loves to throw rocks into the water, and he loves to pose for me when I ask him too. As you tell in a few of the photos he was having some fun playing with me. I couldn't ask for a better little boy, he is such a sweet heart (when he wants to be).

Little Geoff!!!

These are a few pictures of my Little brother-in-law Geoffrey who is 10. I know he looks older in the shot of him against the bricks. I took these for my portrait class portfolio. We had to submit five images and these are two of the ones I chose to use. Geoff has adhd but when I take him and need him to pose for me you would never know it, he does a wonderful job it's just hard to get him to smile for me sometimes. He loves the camera though and i'm thankful for that he is a good sport.

Bio Group!!!

This is a group photo of the Biocommunication students. We each had to take our own different group shot of the Bio's for our portrait class. We shot using 2 large broncolor softboxes on each side and one small in front. I shot this image at f/16 @ 1/20 at ISO 400. We all had some fun with each of our poses.

What Fun in a Pile of Leaves!!!

Here are a few photos of the kids having fun at the Lucks residents in a big pile of leaves on Thanksgiving Day of 2008. These three boys have never had so much fun and it was only in a pile of leaves that had been raked up. Austin(2) is the boy in red, this is my son, Geoffrey(10) is the oldest and is my brother in law, and the youngest in white is Landon(1) and he is my nephew. Landon didn't have any clue as to why he was getting to play in leaves and get dirty, but he had fun doing it anyway. Austin and Geoff would run and jump in the leaves. These pictures were taken as it was getting late in the evening and I had to use flash as you could tell because of how they were moving around so much. I tryed it without flash but it just blurred them and the leaves that were being moved. I had as much fun watching them as they were having playing in them.

American Baby Boy is Here!!!

Here are a few pictures of the new American Baby Boy!! He arrived into this world at 7:36 am. on November 13, 2008 and was name Brayden Hunter Brewer. His dad has still not been able to see but just a few amounts of pictures of him. Brayden is such a cutie and such a good baby boy!! His mother is so excited and ready for his dad to come home to be with them.

Fall Color Magazine Cover

Here is my fall color image I chose to work with for my photojourn class. We had to take a photograph that showed the fall colors but also had a landmark subject in it. I chose to shoot an old damn near my house in Moore County. It used to be part of an old mill. Then we had to take the image into photoshop indesign and create a magazine cover with our image and this is what I did with it. I think it looks ok!!

Chihuahua Puppies

Here are two photos of our dogs!! The top photo is a picture of my son Austin holding our new 6 month old Chihuahua puppy Buddy. This is Buddy's first trip to see the outside. The lower picture is a picture of Buddy's mom Little Britches. Buddy is her only puppy, isn't she a happy mama. She is standing on my sisters foot begging her to pick her up because she is a spoiled inside dog, who doesn't like getting her feet dirty!!

Panoramic

Here Is the panoramic picture we had to take for our digital class. This is a series of about 26 pictures all together. We had to stitch the pictures together in photoshop to make the pano picture. I think it turned out really well for my first.

Retouch Lady

Here is an assignment we had for our digital class. We had to take the picture and retouch it to make it look normal again. We had to fix all the tears in the photo as well as touch up her skin, eyes, and teeth. Her skin doesn't look as well in the photo I retouched on here as well as it does on my original image.

American Baby

Here are a few pictures that I shot in the studio at school playing around. These are of a girl who is pregnant by a boy who is serving in our National Guard Army and will not be home to see their first child being born.

Lens Baby Self Portrait

Here are a few pictures that I took using a lensbaby. The selfportrait I took of myself was also taken with the lens baby for my digital imaging class. They were all shot using the largest aperture the lensbaby has @ 1/400 of a second @ ISO 200.

Austin, Desiree, and Larry
